Going back a few steps, some of you sharp eyed folk may have noticed that when we created our new Category, the frame also gave us the opportunity to add contacts to that Category from the Contacts List. Who knows why they keep changing terminology! Remember Category is the same as Group/Distribution lists. Left click on Copy Contact to and select the Category where you want it included. Outlook begins importing your contacts immediately. If you have multiple email accounts, choose the Contacts folder thats under the email account you want to be associated with the contacts. Right Click on any contact in your Contact List In the Select a destination folder box, scroll to the top if needed and select the Contacts folder > Next. Left click and drag the Contact that you want to add to the Category and drop it in the name of the Category where you want it included. There are a few ways to populate the list with contacts Start Contacts Recovery for Windows Live Mail and select the 'File->Find and recover lost contacts' command in the program menu or click the corresponding button on the main toolbar. Download and install Contacts Recovery for Windows Live Mail software. You have now created a new Category (e.g. How to recover Windows Live Mail contacts. Note: Categories are the same as Groups/Distribution Lists Don’t ask why but Mailing Groups / Distribution Lists are called Categories in Windows Live Mail (very confusing as categories mean something completely different in MS Office)
